My white dawn loves your collar bones
and every silhouette that reminds me of you.
I would it were twilight again,
with day-break near.
If I could rend fragments of the future
and intertwine them with present day hope,
Or even just to taste it for a second;
That would make all the difference
Steam rolls off your hips
and wraps itself around your spine.
Every shade of blue;
Ever so inviting-
As if they knew you had seen it all before.
My skin is flaking at the absence of your lips-
Beads of warm innocence are running
down
my
Cracked Bones
The way your blood crawls through paper-thin veins,
It never caught you off guard
I must choose one or the other-
Do I want time to slow;
As if the breaking of my bloodiest dawn could have shown?
Or shall I catch the wind
and
Whisper to her all I wish for you to know,
and all that I was never able to say.
I will close my eyes and blindly grope my way
through the next 3 years until I feel your
Soft
Tender Flesh;
As inviting as the blues that never had you fooled,
(Even when I believed every irrelevant lie)
Not even for a second
